Pulsepad PSW-500
![]() | Outdated Product A car inverter designed to power low-power 230 V AC consumers from a regular 12 V battery. The device has a rated output power of 500 W (short-term pulsed load surges of up to 1000 W are allowed). The output signal in the form of a pure sine wave (as in a household electrical network) allows you to use the Pulsepad PSW-500 inverter to power equipment sensitive to current quality: modern household appliances and electronics, heating circulation pumps, gas boilers with precise automation, etc. To connect the load, the device has one standard 230 V socket and one USB-A connector, which can be used to power and recharge portable electronics. The device is provided with built-in protection against overheating, overload, short circuit and incorrect connection of wires to the battery. If the batt...ery is too deeply discharged, the inverter turns on an audible signal. The kit includes wires with round terminals and spare fuses. |

Before purchase, I was very worried that the inverter wouldn't handle the claimed 1200W of steady load. I ordered from the official supplier with payment upon receipt. Went to the post office for the item with my car battery, a set of consumers with a total power of up to 1200W, and measuring instruments haha. During testing at the post office, under my full load, the inverter beeped periodically but held on. I think it beeped due to strong voltage drop of the lead-acid battery. In the end, I decided to take it. At home, I connected it to a proper LiFePO4 battery, and the inverter easily handled my 1200W without beeping. The question of the reliability of the internal components and circuitry remains open. It matches the stated characteristics. The price. The display is just gorgeous: informative - with lots of different symbols, bright, colorful - almost every symbol has its own color. External 12V terminals on the case have M6 threads - they heat up significantly under maximum load. The power wires are somewhat short - about 300-400 mm, longer ones would be preferable. |
