Small size high performance hood for concealed installation
30 September 2016
It was decided to install the hood in the new kitchen built into the cabinet so that it takes up less space. They took this Pyramid, it seems that the reviews on the quality of their technique are not bad. Well, the price is also not the highest. True, you can’t call it low either.
The main advantage of this telescopic model is the ability to almost completely hide it in a locker. Only the handle of the retractable filter with a dark glass insert remains visible. In the unfolded state, it still seems small, but it pulls confidently. There are only two speeds of rotation of the fan-turbine in it. At first, even when I was choosing from descriptions on the network, this even seemed to me a disadvantage. But in practice, it turned out to be much easier. The first speed is a quiet mode, in which only a quiet and completely unobtrusive sound is heard. At the same time, the thrust is also small, but it is quite enough for the usual cooking of breakfasts, lunches, dinners. The second speed is full. It develops powerful traction, but it also makes decent noise. The first time it really came in handy a month after installation, when the oil in the pan burned badly. In general, she pulled in all the cinders, not only from the stove, nor from the kitchen in general. Equipped with a multi-layered aluminium filter that traps dust and grease that escapes when frying over high heat. There is also a simple backlight, consisting of two incandescent lamps.
The movement of the retractable part is not very smooth. It may be some kind of defect, but rather, the surfaces have not yet run in.
for very skilled hands

The look of the extractor hood is not bad, but the assembly and fastening quality leave much to be desired. Assembled in Ukraine at a factory named "RADIATOR-2006". The telescopic system is not properly fixed, had to secure it with self-tapping screws. The grease filter section hits the supporting guide when closing and the extractor hood cover does not close. Also had to bend the guide. In short, it's a "build and finish yourself" kit.
Modern look
Poor build quality and fastenings

thoughtful China, crookedly assembled.
26 April 2015
if you have a garage with tools, I advise you to take it, but if you pay someone for installation, then it’s not worth it, no one will spend an hour reassembling the grease filters, it’s a delicate job and you need a thin Phillips screwdriver.
the price matched the style, it has been working for the 2nd year after modifications, the bulbs have not burned out.
assemble it yourself. I had to completely disassemble and reassemble the grease filter meshes as they were assembled the wrong way round and were clinging to the guide when closing. the mounting bolts were not screwed into the mounting threads; an M6 tap could help. Inside, the limit switch is not covered with anything; in a few years it may begin to turn off the hood on its own; once every couple of years, you will have to climb in and wash out the contacts with the fairy.
