Sliding (open panel)

— the sliding panel in this case is a movable part of the air intake, which is pulled out before the hood starts working. This design is popular in built-in models (see "Product type") — it allows you to increase the working area of the air intake and, accordingly, increase the performance of the hood without increasing its overall dimensions. At the same time, this type of hood refers to the open one, when the sliding panel itself (namely, its end face) is visible in the design of the kitchen.
