Good value for money
The smartphone follows the general principle of Realme and offers good value for money. For a low price tag, you get a 6.5-inch IPS display with a modest resolution of 1600x720 pixels and a MediaTek Helio G35 processor, which is positioned as a gaming one. Of course, this model should definitely not be recommended to gamers, but, nevertheless, the device easily performs all everyday tasks and allows you to play at your leisure, but at medium and low graphics settings. Unexpectedly pleased with the main camera, consisting of three modules. A 13-megapixel sensor takes over the load, and two additional 2-megapixel lenses help with depth assessment and macro photography. In general, the pictures are quite decent for a state employee, and various modes and filters, including night, portrait Al-beautification, will help brighten up the picture.
It is also the first C-series to be certified by the German audit company TÜV Rheinland by successfully passing 10 daily use scenario tests, 6 component reliability level scenario tests and 7 extreme environmental use scenario tests. Simply put, certification means that a smartphone meets high quality standards.
Economical energy consumption
The device received a capacious 5000 mAh battery, one charge of which should be enough for one and a half to two days, depending on the activity of use. Of course, now you won’t surprise anyone with this, because many have not yet erased the old push-button “tubes” from memory, with which you could forget about the outlet for several weeks, or even a month. But the feature of Realme C21 is the Super Energy Efficiency Mode. The manufacturer claims that only 5% will be enough for you for 143 minutes of calls, 96 minutes of watching videos on YouTube and 111 minutes on Instagram. Sounds great! In addition, reverse charging is announced, that is, the smartphone acts as a PowerBank and charges other gadgets. This will require an OTG cable and the inclusion of a special mode in the settings. The smartphone comes with a 10W charger, so don't count on fast charging — it will take about 3 hours.
Off-low-cost design
As they say, there are no comrades for the taste and colour, but the design of the Realme low-cost employee deserves a solid “five”. The frame and back panel are made of durable plastic, but no one expected glass or other material. The surface is textured, does not collect fingerprints and does not slip in the hand, so there is no need for a case. By the way, it is not included in the package. The main camera is somewhat similar in design to the latest iPhones and some other more expensive models, being a square block with several sensors inside. It does not protrude too much, so it is convenient to use the smartphone when it lies on the table. There is also a fingerprint scanner and a speaker at the back, which is not the best solution: when the device is lying, for example, on a sofa or in an armchair, you may simply not hear the call without looking at the screen. You can also complain about the microUSB connector for charging, but for the low-cost segment, this is forgivable. But there is a triple slot for two SIM cards and a memory card and a 3.5 mm headphone jack. As for NFC, the situation is strange: it is available only in the version for the Russian market, the smartphone is delivered to all other countries without it.
