A good and inexpensive chainsaw for the garden and dacha

The Ryobi RCS-3835T chainsaw is considered relatively lightweight, as its weight is only 4.4 kg (excluding headset). This tool is convenient for use when performing gardening and country tasks, such as pruning trees, sawing small logs or preparing firewood for a heating boiler. The saw is equipped with a 1.77 hp gasoline engine. with a working volume of 37 cm³. The manufacturer also provided protection for the carburetor from freezing (allowing operation in cold weather) and equipped the engine with a primer that makes it easier to start the engine at both low and high temperatures.

Advantages and disadvantages

Since the Ryobi RCS-3835T chainsaw is intended for home use, it is equipped with an average-length bar of 350 mm. This is quite enough for cutting logs, cutting branches and felling young trees with relatively thin trunks. It's interesting to note that this tool has keyless mechanisms for chain tensioning and saw changing (which are common on electric chainsaws but rarely found on gas-powered models). A user working in a garden or on a personal plot can easily tighten the chain by simply turning the handle, which is located on the side of the body. However, it is worth noting that the chain will have to be tightened quite often (about every 10-15 minutes of operation), since the standard Ryobi chain is of average quality and gradually stretches. But given the low price of this tool (the Ryobi RCS-3835T is considered an affordable, although not quite a budget chainsaw), this drawback can simply be ignored.
