Disappointed.. I bought it for work in the garden.. To saw trees and dispose of branches.. The garden is 6 acres.. so it worked for several hours a month. Price.. A weak, non-repairable saw.. Suddenly the engine began to smoke.. Took it in for warranty repair.. They took it. Three weeks later they called and invited me to receive it. The repair was recognized as not covered by warranty. In the list that I glanced at out of the corner of my eye, any engine failure is NOT WARRANTY. The saw that was repaired (for money) was returned to me along with the burnt out engine. The engine is not designated in any way... without a number, i.e. it is intended in advance to be replaced as a consumable item. I disassembled the engine.. The brushes were slightly worn (unevenly).. The brushes are not replaceable. The plastic fan impeller broke off and jammed the rotor.. No one disassembled or looked at the engine.. The engine is riveted.. It turns out that the warranty applies to the housing and everything.. The description is very, very bad.. Operating modes are not indicated.. There are no lubrication points. . And they give a 3-year warranty... which can work for 3 years without lubrication and maintenance..  Vladimir: use Ryobi RRS-1801M few months |
I chose it based on the large number of positive reviews for infrequent work. Lightweight, cuts well, fits well in the hand. There is no gear cover. Strange decision. Dust will quickly kill the mechanism. In the extreme internal position of the blade fastening unit, the fixing tongue does not fold back, but in the external position it folds back easily, you have to select the position at minimum speed - some kind of assembly defect.
