Saws: types, purpose and selection tipsA brief overview of different types of saws and sawing machines with tips on choosing the right tools
Model overview based on user reviews
The Ryobi RTS-1800G is a stationary circular saw powered by an electric network, offering a motor power of 1800 W and a no-load blade speed of 4500 rpm. It features a flat table and a cutting depth of 80 mm, with a saw angle of 45° allowing a cutting depth of up to 55 mm. Users appreciate its neat design and adjustability, though some note that the parallel fence is loose and the legs are flimsy, requiring a stable table for optimal use. Despite these minor drawbacks, it is considered a good choice for the money, suitable for those willing to make minimal modifications.

Cons

A decent saw for its price
Flat table. No lateral play of the disk. Overall, quite a neat tool that can be adjusted.
The parallel fence is loose and won't align parallel to the blade. The legs are quite flimsy. I had to make a stable heavy table and attach the saw to it.
