Model overview based on user reviews
The SAECO Lirika coffee maker is a compact and reliable automatic espresso machine, ideal for home or small office use. It features a built-in ceramic grinder for using whole coffee beans, producing rich and aromatic espresso with a stable crema. Users appreciate its ability to brew two cups simultaneously and its manual cappuccino maker, which creates excellent foam for cappuccinos. The machine is noted for its large water reservoir, reducing the need for frequent refills, and its self-cleaning function, although some users find it less effective than expected. While the design is compact, some users mention that it is larger and heavier than it appears in photos. The machine is generally considered noisy, a common trait among coffee makers, but it is praised for its delicious coffee and ease of use. However, it lacks coffee strength adjustment, and some users have reported issues with noise after a month of use. Despite these minor drawbacks, the SAECO Lirika is valued for its affordable price and overall performance, making it a popular choice among coffee enthusiasts.

great model, love it

Interesting design, fits right in the corner of the bar counter, takes up little space compared to most coffee makers, compact. The volume of water is large, if you need to cook for a company, for example, then you don’t need to constantly add it. In addition to the espresso itself, which I must say is quite tasty, it makes cappuccino. Here I have to get used to it, because the first time I came up with something incomprehensible that filled half the kitchen with foam. I’m exaggerating, of course, but I didn’t succeed right away, but over time I learned to make a very decent cappuccino, at least all my friends who have tried many of the most exotic drinks are happy to help themselves, the reviews are generally positive. The foam that comes out not only on cappuccino, but also on regular coffee is completely different from simply brewing; you will never achieve such a taste, aroma and foam. Moreover, you can choose the taste of coffee exactly as you like, it is possible to set the degree of grinding and the volume of water, to achieve the ideal taste. Remembers parameters. It is inexpensive for an automatic coffee machine of this class. In general, I only chose from Saeco devices, because for most of their models the price tags are adequate and the reviews, both on the Internet and among friends, are mostly positive. We chose this one for its design, good reviews, and a bunch of small nice features.
It’s a little noisy, in principle I close the kitchen door tightly in the morning, but it’s still a little audible. Well, all these types of machines are noisy, then there’s no need to use them. Maybe spit some water. And I didn’t find any particular shortcomings.

great model, love it

I approached choosing a coffee maker cautiously since they are quite expensive and, in practice, there are always (really always!) a lot of problems with them. I browsed a huge number of models online and decided to settle on this one. The thing is, Saeco seemed the most reliable to me, and their prices are quite reasonable. It turned out that the choice was rather successful - the coffee maker works well. It's not too big, you can place it anywhere, and while the design is slightly old-fashioned, I like it.

In fact, the quality of the espresso is completely satisfying - the coffee is rich and aromatic. It prepares quickly and you can simultaneously make two servings. Moreover, it also makes cappuccino, quite well, although, as usual, in a semi-automatic mode. Another important advantage is the ability to use whole coffee beans.
In principle, I haven't found any drawbacks yet. The coffee maker is quite noisy (I understand that they all operate loudly, but I've seen quieter models). There is a self-cleaning function, but practically, it's almost useless - you still have to clean it manually. Otherwise, I like everything, and I use it with great pleasure. And of course, the price, well, the price is a bit high.

great model, love it

Overall, this is a great modern coffee maker. Able to make delicious coffee, the preparation process itself is fully automated. The only significant drawback is the volume of work.
First of all, the coffee maker has a built-in grinder, allowing you to use beans. The espresso turns out strong and aromatic, with a stable crema. There is an option for manual cappuccino preparation. It can brew two cups of coffee at the same time, which is, of course, not new for models of this level, but it still counts as an advantage. It can also warm cups. It can be used as a kettle by simply heating water (for tea, for example). The water reservoir is huge. The self-cleaning function for the coffee maker works quite well indeed.
In fact, this coffee maker is very large, if not huge - you can’t even see it in the photo, it’s really bigger than it seems to you now. It takes up too much space, besides, it also weighs a lot. The process of preparing espresso is quite fast, but very noisy (if someone makes coffee, then everyone knows about it).

Full cooking cycle

The Lirika coffee machine from the SAECO line is a basic model that has gained a reputation as a reliable, simple and productive device for the home or small office. One of its features is ceramic millstones, which allow you to prepare freshly ground coffee. However, it is worth noting that this model does not have a special shaft for ground coffee. The coffee bean hopper holds up to 500 grams and has a lid, which avoids frequent replenishment and protects the coffee from moisture and air.

SAECO Lirika provides two programs (not counting hot water) - espresso and lungo, and can prepare two servings of the drink at once by double pressing the corresponding buttons on the control panel. With the help of a manual cappuccino maker, users can prepare coffee with milk such as cappuccino, latte and other popular drinks.

Reliable components

Inside the coffee machine there is an 1850-watt heater, a removable brewing unit and a 15 bar pump that supplies hot water for brewing coffee. In addition to coffee beans, the model also requires water, which is stored in a 2.5 liter tank. After preparing the coffee, the spent grounds are sent to a container that can hold up to 15 servings.

For ease of use, the device has a monochrome display that displays prompts, including reminders to run the self-cleaning program to remove scale. It is important to note that scale can form quite quickly, especially when using hard water, so it is recommended to install a special filter (the package does not include a filter).

As for the basic recipe adjustments, you have the opportunity to adjust the volume (set during the first setup) and temperature. However, it is worth considering that the strength of the drink is not regulated by this model, which can be considered its disadvantage.

SAECO Lirika is a simple, reliable and efficient coffee machine that copes well with its main task - preparing delicious coffee.
