Traditionally, the demand for low-cost smartphones is very high and in order to meet the needs of all segments of the population, Samsung has released the Galaxy J2 Pro 2018. It will appeal to those who prefer products from trusted brands.
Super AMOLED matrix
The reason for pride in the smartphone is a bright and juicy Super AMOLED display, stretching diagonally over a distance of 5". A small fly in the ointment in a barrel of honey is the fact that the picture on it is shown in a low resolution of 960x540 pixels. However, there is no particular graininess on the screen, which means it is convenient to use it on an everyday basis.
Typical hardware
The gadget got an electronic “hardware” of the level of a self-confident state employee: an entry-level Snapdragon 425 chip, which is supported by 1.5 GB of RAM. You won’t be able to keep a lot of running programs in memory, however, for the stable operation of a couple of undemanding applications, the hardware capabilities are more than enough. Yes, and you can safely play, for example, "tanks" on a smartphone — the frame rate at low graphics settings in World of Tanks Blitz is stable within 35-40 fps. The smartphone also has its own "chip" — the function of duplicating applications for logging in from different accounts (relevant for instant messengers and social network clients).
Low-cost Roots
Of the total volume of the built-in storage of 16 GB, the user is given a little less than 10 GB, the rest is taken by the Android 7.1 OS for its needs. The lack of free space is fully compensated by the presence of a separate slot for a microSD memory card. The budgetary roots of the device can also be traced in the characteristics of its cameras (photo modules typical for the initial class of devices with 8 MP at the back and 5 MP at the front) and a modest battery capacity (2600 mAh). At the same time, you don’t have to worry about premature discharge of the gadget, since “non-gluttonous” components paired with a low-resolution screen allow you to save battery power and extend it for a full day of smartphone operation without denying yourself anything.
