Lightweight, small, high-performance 500GB external SSD with high-speed USB-C 3.2 Gen2. It is distinguished by low weight (58 g) and modest size of a solid plastic case, which allows you to carry it in any, even a small women's bag or in a pocket of outerwear. Provides ultra-fast USB 3.2 C Gen2 data transfer rates up to 1050 Mbps, 6-10 times faster than conventional consumer HDD-based mobile storage.

The high data transfer rate guarantees fast copying of 4K/8K video, original RAW photos, and files of various work projects. The Samsung Portable T7 MU-PC500T/WW SSD comes with two types of connection cables (USB-C -> USB-C and USB-C -> USB-A, both 50 cm long), which allows you to easily connect to any personal computers, laptops, ultrabooks, media players, or current LCD/OLED TVs.

The drive comes with built-in software for systems running Windows and MacOS. Supports the UASP protocol (USB Attached SCSI Protocol), which provides increased data transfer speed. It is possible to securely encrypt user data using the AES 256-bit algorithm, which is important for protecting commercially valuable information in a business. Based on proprietary controller and original 3D TLC NAND flash memory.

Perhaps the most reliable SSD model on the mass market

I use the drive for Time Machine backups, and it performs its role perfectly. I haven't measured the speed because there's no point; it just works, although it does get quite hot.

Very cool drive

A very cool drive, works reliably for a year now. It has a good configuration, and a cool feature is the software that allows you to lock the disk with a password for confidentiality, although I don't use it. It works really fast, I mount 4K videos directly from the drive without delays. It looks very stylish, it's convenient that there are different colors, but for some reason it feels tactilely like you are constantly worried about breaking it, although it is quite reliable, this is purely a psychological issue, however, all my acquaintances who use it say the same.
