The main feature of the Samsung robot vacuum cleaner is its shape and design. Although the body itself is made in the form of a traditional washer, its “hood” is rectangular. In addition, the brush is mounted not in the centre, but in the front, thanks to which the device perfectly handles with dust and debris in the corners and along the walls. The kit comes with a combination brush with bristles and a special soft one with the addition of silver for an antistatic effect. It is quite long — 278 mm, which allows you to reduce cleaning time and reduce movement. And its design prevents clogging with hair and wool: in the centre and on the sides there are self-cleaning grinders, after which small pieces are easily absorbed.

The model does not have conventional side brushes that can scatter debris, but when the vacuum cleaner approaches walls and corners, a special foot extends that sweeps the dust inside. But the body of the robot cannot be called ultra-thin — 97 mm, although it still freely climbs under chairs and beds. And the wheels will be able to overcome obstacles up to 15 mm high.

Big power and different modes

POWERbot VR-20R7260WC is quite powerful and sucks up dust even better than a regular vacuum cleaner. The intelligent control system itself adjusts the power depending on the coverage: for a carpet — higher, for the floor — lower. The result is increased cleaning efficiency and energy savings. But at maximum power, the device, of course, is noisy.

As for the cleaning modes, there are 3 of them: automatic, manual and in a certain area. With the help of sensors, a camera and a three-axis gyroscope, the robot explores the room, maps and avoids obstacles and falls, and the Visionary Mapping 2.0 navigation system selects the best route. But the dust collector would like a larger volume — it holds 300 mL. One battery charge lasts up to 90 minutes.

Remote, app and voice

The model pleases with convenient control. First, you can control the vacuum cleaner over Wi-Fi using the SmartThings app, which allows you to start cleaning, stop it, change the suction power and set the cleaning schedule. Unfortunately, there are no virtual borders, but the kit also comes with a remote control. It generates a beam of light that tells the vacuum cleaner where to remove the dust. As a result, the robot will move in the direction of the beam and clean the surface. The status of the vacuum cleaner, cleaning schedule, cleaning modes and errors will be notified by a voice assistant that supports 13 languages, including Russian. Another nice bonus is the presence of a display on the body, which displays all the necessary information.

To sum up, Samsung has got a high-quality multifunctional model that does its job perfectly and saves you both time and effort on cleaning, but you have to pay a lot of money for this.
