The Samsung Jet Bot+ VR-30T85513W smart cleaning robot released in summer 2021 is a great choice for keeping your home clean. The device belongs to the advanced flagship Jet Bot series, which combines robotic technology, and the prefix “+” in the model designation indicates that the mobile complex is equipped with a garbage collection base station. The 300 mL cyclone dust collector of the vacuum cleaner is automatically emptied of debris when visiting the Clean Station. At the moment of suction, the inverter motor of the station consumes 1300 watts. This is necessary to create a powerful traction that transfers the collected dirt into a 2.5 L disposable bag (replacement included). And when charging the battery, power consumption is much more modest: only 40 watts.
Dry cleaning only
The LiDar navigation sensor is not located as usual in the centre of the disk, but is shifted to its edge. The laser rangefinder provides the function of indoor mapping with rational route building and path optimization. Thanks to the high-precision Anti-Cliff obstacle sensor, the vacuum cleaner avoids obstacles very delicately, eliminating contact with expensive furniture. Since the model is intended only for dry cleaning, there is no water tank and the likeness of a “mop” in the design. There is a washable HEPA filter here (there is one spare), as opposed to a simple fine dust filter installed in the base station. The device is equipped with one side brush with 3 "panicles" and an improved turbo brush with silver threads that relieve static electricity. This tandem with automatic suction control provides excellent cleaning performance on smooth floors and thin carpets. The main module of the cleaning robot is quite economical (60 W), but the ratio of charging time and operation of 240/90 minutes leaves much to be desired.
