Stylish and practical solution
The 43-inch TV launched by Samsung in 2017 stands out from its entry-level competitors. The panel has a miniature frame around the display, a neat and rather thin body (without a stand, the thickness is 55 mm), a beautiful and stable X-shaped leg, and a smooth plastic back surface with a small rectangular niche for interface connectors.

Samsung UE-43M5500 supports Full HD resolution. The picture is characterized by high brightness, which does not deteriorate at large viewing angles. Acceptable contrast is ensured by Micro Dimming Pro local dimming technology, thanks to which blacks look quite convincing in bright rooms.
According to users, the TV does a good job of playing HD-quality video and higher, but the SD-picture leaves much to be desired, since there is no upscaling function.
From the predecessors of 2016 release, for example, Samsung UE-40K5510, the model is distinguished by support for the Auto Motion Plus function. It allows you to improve the smoothness of the image, regardless of the quality of the incoming signal. At the same time, the index of dynamic scenes due to the Picture Quality Index reaches 800 fps.
Smart functionality
The TV works in tandem with Tizen 3.0 OS. The shell provides access to various online cinemas, video streaming services, games and sites on the Internet. The intuitive Smart Hub interface complements the multimedia remote that comes with the package. Its important feature is the ability to control voice, which, at a minimum, will allow you not to manually enter the name of the desired movie or service. Minor shortcomings of Smart TV include occasional slowdowns of the interface.
