— this category includes models with advanced features that go far beyond the "classic" TV features. The main distinguishing feature of all Smart TVs is the ability to connect to the Internet — at least through the LAN port, and in most models also wirelessly, via Wi-Fi. Specific features may be different: specialized programmes for accessing network services and social networks (YouTube, Facebook, etc.), a full-fledged browser, Skype support, the ability to work with home local networks and the DLNA standard, and even installing additional software (including games) and firmware updates.
