A compact video camera for vlog recording and various activities, designed in an elongated vertical form factor. This model features an all-seeing lens with a wide field of view of about 170° and a maximum aperture of f/1.8. Realistic audio recording is ensured by a stereo microphone with noise reduction. Note that the camera is screenless — you can aim during video recording using a paired smartphone, which is also used to set the main filming parameters.
Video recording is possible at a resolution of up to 4K — 3840x2160 pixels at 30 fps. Slow-motion video is recorded at a frame rate of 120 fps in Full HD frame format (1920x1080 pixels). Available shooting modes include standard mode, loop mode (for conditional use of the camera as a dashcam), vertical screen modes, and webcam mode. The SJCAM C110 Plus features an effective image stabilization system (6-axis gyroscope), a removable 1100 mAh battery, and comes with a waterproof protective case. For its price, it’s simply superb First and foremost—the price. The camera is inexpensive, and you do not expect too much from it, but the video quality is excellent, including 4K. If you select 2K, the viewing angle is cropped, so I do not recommend it. There is a proprietary app through which all settings and mode selection are managed (and there are quite a lot of modes). I was pleasantly surprised by the presence of a dashcam mode with motion activation. Although the stabilization is software-based, it is very high quality. The image is stable and smooth, and the bitrate is sufficient to prevent pixelation during sudden scene changes. I would also like to point out the device's low weight. You cannot feel it on your helmet at all. The bright LED clearly indicates the status. The package contents are also excellent—there are many mounts, both flat and curved, a neck mount, and a waterproof housing. However, I had to purchase a separate chin mount for the helmet; only this way does the viewing angle avoid distorting the overall image. The startup sound is clear—it can be heard even with the motorcycle engine running. The battery lasts a long time; after riding for several hours, it still had not run out.
