I've been using the kettle for a year now. Boils water quickly, in two minutes. There were no false alarms or shutdowns. It is heavy, takes up a lot of space in the kitchen - it is difficult to hold it in your hands when cleaning, but these are minor things. Large volume, water boiling speed, automation works well. You can immediately see from the smeg kettle that it is expensive and of high quality. I boil it twice a day - in the morning and in the evening after work. i bought a Smeg kettle in a pleasant blue color for my Moroccan-style kitchen. It doesn’t seem possible yet to find something authentic, but such a laconic teapot suited perfectly.
