I've been using the kettle for a year now. Boils water quickly, in two minutes. There were no false alarms or shutdowns. It is heavy, takes up a lot of space in the kitchen - it is difficult to hold it in your hands when cleaning, but these are minor things. Large volume, water boiling speed, automation works well. i bought a Smeg kettle in a pleasant blue color for my Moroccan-style kitchen. It doesn’t seem possible yet to find something authentic, but such a laconic teapot suited perfectly.
