Snugpak Scorpion 3

The three-person trekking tent by Snugpak belongs to the high price segment. In the brand's lineup, it is one of the lightest models for three (2.9 kg without pegs and cover, and the total weight 3.4 kg) and is recommended for use literally all year round by hikers, climbers, and/or military personnel. Its preparedness for bad weather is ensured by the excellent water resistance of the textile materials — 5000mm water column for both the polyester tent and the nylon floor.

The polyester used is ripstop-resistant and has taped seams. The Snugpak Scorpion 3 tent features an aluminum frame with three poles made from 7001 alloy with quick-release connectors: combining lightness with resistance to temperature fluctuations. The inner layer is made of nylon with No-See-Um-Mesh inserts. The sleeping area is designed for three people, but with a maximum width of 175 cm on the floor, it is recommended to sleep head-to-toe.

There is one entrance to the living area, doubled with a mosquito net and supplemented by a medium-sized vestibule (about 80 cm in length). Additionally, it has an abundance of internal pockets (10 pieces — five on each side of the sleeping area), three ventilation openings, and an expanded set of Y-shaped pegs (20 pieces). In the included compression sack, the model's dimensions are 43x21x21 cm, equivalent to less than 19 liters in volume.
