The best purchase of 2025 still covers all the needs for a good evening Easy to use and configure Better design compared to regular 5ka I found no flaws. |
The PlayStation 5 has fully lived up to expectations after transitioning from the previous generation. The console operates quickly, without long load times or lag. The difference is especially noticeable in modern games — the graphics, smoothness, and sound have reached a new level. During use, there have been no glitches or issues. Fast game loading thanks to SSD High-quality graphics and stable FPS DualSense controller with satisfying feedback and adaptive triggers Quiet operation even under load Wide selection of exclusive games User-friendly interface and quick navigation Large console size — you need to plan the space in advance Limited built-in memory capacity Some games have a high price |
Fast, quiet, compact (relative to the Fat version) Having previously owned a PS4 Pro, I can say that the fifth slim version (Digital in my case) is just out of this world. It is VERY fast, both in terms of operations and game launches. The fast WiFi lets me download everything without any annoying waiting. It runs quietly; mine stands vertically, and I bought a stand for better ventilation. I like the Digital version because it looks nice and symmetrical, pleasing to the eye. The gamepad is comfortable and ergonomic, with the battery lasting around 8 hours of gaming; I charge it once a week. I especially liked the adaptive triggers; in some games like Astro Bot, it’s pure excitement and the gameplay is built around it. I’d also like to point out the customization of the interface and the numerous settings available. Games run smoothly; I use a Lenovo 27" all-in-one with a 2K screen as my monitor, and everything is just perfect. Although, it would be even better in 4K, but we make do with what we have. I was also pleased with the ability to expand the memory and clean the fans, as the panels are easy to remove. The situation with the storage capacity is confusing. It depends on the market and the console's revision. When I bought mine, I was 100% sure it would have 1 TB, but in reality, it's 825 GB, with only a little more than 600 GB available, which is VERY little considering some games weigh over 100 GB. But considering the prices of SSDs, expanding the storage would mean buying another PS5. I was also surprised that you can't connect headphones or accessories via Bluetooth. That's only half the problem, because there's neither an analog nor optical audio output - only HDMI. So if you want to connect speakers, you'll need to buy a separate dongle. The only option to connect an external device is through the jack on the gamepad. There's no stand included for vertical installation - everything needs to be bought separately. |
