Pocket knife for everyday wear brand Spyderco can be attributed to solutions of the middle price category. The model is a modified version (second generation) of the previously released version of Cara Cara. According to the manufacturer, the overall ergonomics have been improved here, a four-position clip has been added for wearing on a belt or pocket, sharpening has been changed, and bronze bushings have been used. Due to the latter, the smoothness and comfort of the back lock should increase, which provides for both blocking the blade and the possibility of operation with one hand. The Spyderco Byrd Cara Cara 2 FRN knife received a fairly compact blade 9.5 cm long (with a total length of 217 mm) with a smooth cutting edge. The blade is made of 8Cr13MoV high-carbon stainless steel, which...is not afraid of moisture and water, and also keeps sharpening well. The hardness of the metal reaches 56 units on the HRC scale, which provides an optimal ratio of characteristics and a good level of reliability. The handle features textured nylon overlays and a finger recess for a comfortable, direct grip. Other features include light weight (less than 100 grams) and the presence of a lanyard attachment.
