The blade of the Gerber Zilch knife is made of 7Cr steel - an anti-corrosion metal with high strength and hardness - the declared figure is 62 units on the Rockwell scale, which means you can count on a really long-term preservation of the factory sharpness. The handle of the model is made of fiberglass: it has an original texture, complemented by a finger groove for a secure grip and a hole for pulling the lanyard.
