Stagg L320 is a classic low-cost Les Paul for those who are just about to touch the legend. The guitar, in fact, is a Gibson replica, exactly repeating it, with the exception of a slightly modified shape of the cataway. Available in several colours including black (B) and cherry sunburst. Despite the fact that Stagg is a Belgian company, its production facilities are located in China, which allows it to produce a completely high-quality product at an affordable price.

Body and neck

The body of the L 320 is made from a single piece of alder, which means that the sound of the guitar is warm, with a weak sustain and a predominance of the "middle". Alder is generally a very musical wood. Its sonic properties are capable of satisfying fans of a wide variety of styles, from funk to hardrock. The top deck is traditionally protected by a cream pickguard. The 22-fret maple neck has a glued joint to the body, which somewhat compensates for the lack of sustain, and, in general, significantly increases the value of the instrument, as for such a price. After all, usually, a glued neck is the prerogative of expensive electric guitars.

Electronics and mechanics

Here the manufacturer did not try to be smart and limited himself to the classic "Les Paul" set of mechanics and pickups. A traditional fixed Tune-O-Matic bridge, two closed humbuckers, a Push–Pull switch (with a cut-off) are the visiting card of any Les Paul. The pickups are rather weak, but they sound clean and juicy, and they are almost not lost in the mix, especially if you play the "lamp".

The L 320 is a great choice for the beginner, helping you get used to the instrument tactilely and find your own playing style.
