Airy lightness and strange design
The Steba JM 1 electric yogurt maker has a rather controversial design, combining a cylindrical container for glasses with a figured control panel attached to it, which increases the linear dimensions of the device. The glossy white plastic case is well cleaned and does not imply problems with care throughout the entire period of operation. The transparent cover is supplied with the convenient handle for control of ripening process. The device is sold with 8 glasses with tight-fitting lids, each with a capacity of 150 mL, and as a nice bonus, it is worth mentioning the presence of a booklet with recipes. The model turned out to be quite light and weighs only 1.1 kg.
Convenient control panel
From the point of view of the thermal regime, the device has an optimal power of 22 W, which is enough for a standard heating temperature of 40 °C. The electronic control panel is quite convenient to set up and, in addition to a monochrome digital display, contains a power button with a separate indicator light, a programme start button, and 2 buttons for finely setting the timer time — one for hours and the other for minutes. The maximum sleep timer programming time is 17 hours. At the end of the set operating time, the device beeps, accompanied by a flashing power indicator. At the same time, the heating of the water tank is automatically turned off and all that remains is to unplug the power cord from the outlet.
