After reading various reviews and watching tons of videos on YouTube, a decision was made to buy a mid-range air rifle for some casual shooting. The choice fell on the Stoeger X-20. The first impressions after the initial tests were not very impressive: accuracy was disappointing, to say the least, and pellets were getting stuck. I tried to find answers on the internet, but to no avail. After consulting with a specialist, it turned out that the problem was with the pellets and the sight. After replacing both, I finally got the hang of hitting targets at distances of 40 meters and beyond. Additionally, for convenience, the trigger travel length was shortened. It's been two years since then, and I've shot several thousand pellets. During cleaning, it's important to ensure the cloth doesn't get stuck in the silencer. If you get used to it and practice, you can shoot quite well on a hunt. Of course, it might be difficult for a beginner to learn to hit the target at first, but that's all a matter of practice. In general, the Stoeger X-20 is a mid-range rifle worth its money. This is a fairly powerful yet quiet rifle. It handles pigeons excellently, and you can also shoot a hare. Strong, well-constructed, and with a thoughtful design. Looks quite nice. With the right bullets, it achieves good accuracy. Low cost. Made in China. Lack of proper guidance, weak support from the manufacturer. The original sight leaves much to be desired, and because of it, the rifle may be inaccurate. A couple of times, bullets have jammed inside the barrel. Strong dependency on a certain type of bullets. Uncomfortable trigger. Quite heavy. Excellent rifle. I took it two years ago for 9000, the kit included a piston and a more powerful spring. Changed right away. The previous author writes about a hare ... well, I don’t know ... if only from five meters and then in the eye or in the ear ... I'm not a sniper. But with regard to birds, the experience is huge) I hit without optics up to 25-30 meters, the duck's wing breaks freely. I use only bullets gamma master point 0.49 grams. Cleaning regularly after every trip. If in terms of power, then a drywall profile from 20 meters breaks through. A very good rifle for the money. According to the accuracy of how you shoot)) I would not say that it is oblique! Great rifle for the money. Haven't found it yet. Great pneumatic gun. I used to shoot with this one in the school shooting range. Scored 41 points. Lightweight, auto safety lock. No use Stoeger X20 less than month |
