The modern multisport combine from the Finnish brand Suunto is sharpened, to a greater extent, for measuring the parameters of physical activity in cyclic sports. Galaxy of sensors

A personal trainer on the wrist is able to boast a whole galaxy of various sensors in the equipment: altimeter, barometer, accelerometer, GPS, etc. At the same time, there was no place in the watch case for a heart rate monitor, which is included in the model package as a separate chest sensor. The watch interface logic is built on additional desktops that serve to display various activity parameters. And although the screen of the model is no frills (non-touch and monochrome), its readability remains good in any conditions — at night, the backlight comes to the rescue in reading data, and in bright sunlight the picture can be switched to inverse mode.

Full control

In each type of activity, the watch measures not only general parameters, but also specific indicators. For example, while exercising in the pool, they count the number of strokes and use inertial sensors to recognize the swimming style, and when riding a “two-wheeled horse”, the Suunto Ambit3 Sport turns into a mini bike computer. After the end of the workout, the watch knocks out its results and makes recommendations about the time of rest and recovery.

In the category of minuses of the model, you can hardly write down the lack of a sleep monitor and the belt fastening of the heartbeat sensor that tends to slide when swimming. The rest of the watch works flawlessly, for which they get the closest attention from athletes who seek to control the lion's share of activity indicators in different sports.
