The flagship Suunto Race smartwatch features a durable metal bezel, steel in this model and titanium in the Race Titanium version. The watch face is protected by a durable, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, making it a reliable choice for tough conditions.
The watch has excellent water resistance: the WR100M protection level allows you to use it for swimming and small dives. In addition, Suunto Race has a capacious battery, which lasts for 16 days in normal mode, up to 26 days in power-saving mode and up to 50 hours with active GPS.
Advanced sports and navigation functions
The smartwatch is equipped with GPS, supports route navigation, downloading and displaying topographic maps. For this, 16 GB of internal memory and a 1.43-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 × 466 pixels and automatic brightness control are provided. Fans of outdoor activities will also appreciate the built-in compass, barometer and altimeter.
The watch offers advanced sports features, including 95 sports modes and advanced training metrics such as VO2 Max and heart rate variability (HRV) to assess recovery. The watch supports AI-coached training, multisport modes, workout planning, and syncing with platforms like Strava, TrainingPeaks, and more.
The only notable absence from the Suunto Race is contactless payment support. Otherwise, it's a great smartwatch for active lifestyles.
