The tent is well-ventilated due to its two-layer design and ventilation windows, effectively preventing condensation. The floor is both durable and waterproof. While it comfortably accommodates two people, adding a third may feel cramped. A downside is the bundled bag, which is not suitable for hiking, necessitating the purchase of a separate compression bag. Additionally, the absence of a skirt can lead to excess air movement in windy conditions. Overall, the Trimm Alfa is a good buy for hiking, offering a balance between cost and functionality.

Passion for tourism is not only a healthy physical activity, interesting acquaintances and new places. This is also the cost of preparing for hikes and the purchase of specialized equipment. The tent is the most important piece of equipment and I chose it as carefully as possible. I had to balance the cost, the budget, unfortunately, is not rubber. But in the end, I was very pleased with my purchase. Light weight, which is 3.3 kg (weight, together with a purchased compression bag, I weighed it myself). For long hikes, the weight is acceptable and comfortable. Simple and fast installation procedure. Well, it’s simple, the first time I suffered for about forty minutes, but this is because I didn’t read the instructions well)) The outer and inner awnings are sewn neatly, the seams are even, the inner surface of the seams of the outer tent is glued with polyurethane tape. It is cozy inside, there are two large and useful pockets on the walls, under the dome there is a loop for a time-tested LED flashlight. Thanks to two layers and ventilation windows, the tent is well ventilated, there are no issues with condensation. The floor is durable and waterproof. Two people in a tent are accommodated comfortably, I don’t recommend taking a third person, it’s a bit crowded. The bundled bag is only suitable for light walking and not at all suitable for hiking, so I had to buy a compression bag separately. There is no skirt, which in a decent wind creates excess air movement between the layers. |
