Two entrances and three arches
The representative of the Czech brand Trimm has two large entrances, each of which has acquired a mosquito net and a triangular vestibule.
The model is distinguished by a 3-rod fibreglass frame, which increases the overall wind resistance of the structure. Another third arch with a diameter of 9.5 mm, which complements the 8.5 mm pair familiar to the hemisphere, allows you to increase the height and total volume of the vestibules, which, with a depth of each of them 80 cm, will provide enough space for tourist luggage and/or cooking in bad weather.
Model 2+1
Trimm Ohio 3 is positioned by the manufacturer as a solution for 2 – 3 people. The total size of the bed is 220x150 cm, which is slightly larger than the 2-seater TALBERG Boyard 2 pro. Two people in the inner tent will be comfortable and not crowded, but when three people are placed, the level of comfort will decrease significantly.
Both side pockets and a removable hanging shelf will help keep personal items inside. A special hook is provided for hanging the lantern, and ventilation windows for ventilation without opening the entrances.
Rain protection
The awnings in the Trimm Ohio 3 are made of polyester: the inner one is light and breathable, while the outer one is more durable and waterproof (3000 mm of water column). Reinforced corners and glued seams increase the reliability and tightness of the outer fabric. The bottom of the tent is verbose, polyethylene. It is well protected from getting wet and resists wear well.
The model is supplied in a pouch-bag, the dimensions of which are 51x16x16 cm, and its handles, if necessary, turn into tightening straps for even greater compression. The total weight of the tent is 3.9 kg, which is quite acceptable for a trekking solution.
If the potential tightness for three is not embarrassing or you are traveling with a child, then the Trimm Ohio 3 attracts with its thoughtful ergonomics and plenty of space for camping equipment.
