The two-person tent by Coleman is a medium-budget solution for hiking or cycling tours. The model is characterized by a moderate weight (less than 3 kg) and quite compact dimensions in the cover (equating to a volume of about 11 liters), which allows for a trekking scenario use with carrying in a backpack or as an external attachment. Another highlight is the easy setup, as the tunnel form-factor (semi-barrel) features one fiberglass pole.

The inner frame permits the use of just the sleeping compartment in hot summer weather—without the outer flysheet. The Coleman Bedrock 2 tent includes two small vestibules (about 50 cm long) and a couple of entrances to the living room, enhancing convenience for tourists and allowing easy ventilation of the sleeping area if necessary. The width of the latter varies from 135 cm in the shoulder area to 58 cm at the feet.

For increased comfort, mosquito nets and internal pockets are offered, plus there are additional ventilation elements. The outer flysheet is made of polyester fabric: it has sealed seams and reinforced corners, with moderate water resistance — 3000 mm water column. The polyethylene floor is fully integrated with the sleeping area, preventing moisture and insects from entering, and has a benchmark water resistance — 10000 mm. Special mention to the UV protection — UV Guard technology ensures a high SPF50 rating.
