Excellent monitors, with a superb balance and consistency of all frequencies. I use them both for sound monitoring in the studio and for mixing during performances - they reflect the real sound of the mix in the sequencer, and my ears don't get tired. They offer good sound isolation. Additionally, the original and memorable design is a plus. I was pleased with the replaceable ear pads (and the possibility of replacing them at all) - it's a great bonus with frequent use. The price is, of course, high, but for headphones that combine DJ capabilities with studio monitor sound, it's simply an excellent offer. In their class, they are OPTIMAL in terms of price and quality - no brand markup (unlike Pioneers and Technics, which don't match their price with sound and reliability!!!) By the way, in Europe, along with AKG and Audio-Technica, they are among the top three most in-demand and reliable "ears" for the studio. First of all, SOUND, the presence of 2 cords, replaceable ear pads, a convenient and reliable case, they solve two problems at once, they monitor sound perfectly. S-Logic™ Natural Surround Sound System Like all Ultrasone headphones, the DJ1 PRO uses the patented S-Logic™ Natural Surround Sound system for natural 3D sound. Headphones from other manufacturers direct sound directly into the auditory canal of the inner ear, so the music seems to be "blocked" outside the headphones and sounds inside the head. On the contrary, the S-Logic™ system uses a special decentralized driver placement and first directs the sound to the outer ear, where it is naturally re-reflected before entering the auditory canal - just as it happens in normal sound perception. That is why the listener experiences a three-dimensional sound image with distances and directions. The sound is no longer blocked by the headphones - it surrounds, seems wide and separate.
Less hearing strain
The S-Logic™ system not only creates a spatial sound image, but also provides the same subjective volume level with 40% less sound pressure on the ear membrane than conventional headphones.
