The VES VYM-2 yogurt maker is one of the most inexpensive models on the market, which will pay off very quickly in the household. The device has the shape of a truncated pyramid with rounded edges, and its compact body is made of durable glossy plastic. The manufacturer decided not to waste money on small glasses in this model and equipped it with a single plastic bowl with a lid with a capacity of 1 liter, which is especially convenient given the claimed modes for preparing sour cream and homemade cottage cheese. The device's power of 20 W provides long-term uniform heating of the contents of the bowl in a water bath (150 mL) at a constant temperature.
Touch control
An electronic control panel with a digital display is mounted on the instrument housing at the very base. Using the touch buttons, you can select: a preset cooking programme for various fermented milk products that differ from each other only in the duration of heating, manually enter the heat treatment time using the built-in 36-hour timer and start the device. After the set time has elapsed, the heating will automatically turn off, and a sound signal will notify you for 60 seconds about the need to disconnect the device from the network. If for some reason the audio alert is not heard, it will repeat again after 20 minutes.
