Internal (embedded) hard drive of 3.5" form factor from the WD Purple Pro Surveillance family of special HDD drives for 2021. This line includes 6 models ranging from 8 and 22 TB, which are optimized for 24/7 operation in systems video surveillance based on digital video recorders (DVRs) and network video recorders (NVRs). Firmware with AllFrame AI technology ensures uninterrupted round-the-clock recording of video streams from a large number of HD cameras (up to 64 pcs.) Designed to work in storage facilities with up to eight disks.
, which makes it possible to easily and quickly scale the video storage subsystem as needed. Equipped with a SATA3 interface, providing backward compatibility with SATA2 and SATA equipment. If necessary, the WD Purple Pro WD121PURP hard drive can fully operate in various RAID arrays. , energy-efficient controller and firmware features guarantee high efficiency and moderate heat dissipation, which increases the reliability of the system as a whole.
Supported by proprietary Western Digital Device Analytics software, which provides continuous monitoring and protection of video surveillance data storage using advanced prevention and recovery tools. The resource guaranteed by the manufacturer is 550 TB per year (5-year warranty), which is equivalent to continuous recording of video streams 24/7 in a volume of up to 62.8 GB/hour.
