Reliable 3.5″ internal hard drive from the 2012 NasWare Red HDD family, specially designed for Network Attached Storage (NAS) applications. This line includes models from 1 GB to 6 TB, the design and firmware of which is optimized for solving the problems of storing information in NAS-arrays with up to 8 drives. This model uses the technology of "tiled" magnetic recording (SMR), which allows to achieve high capacity, and the magnetic plates themselves rotate at a speed of 5400 rpm.
The WD WD20EFRX HDD is positioned as a mid-range product designed for use in home/office multi-drive storage connected via a local area network consisting of high-speed cable or wireless connections. Such a drive is not recommended to be used as a system drive, but it will perfectly cope with storing large volumes of working project files, video / photo / audio content of the highest quality and various backups. Therefore, it can be installed as an additional HDD in a multi-purpose home PC, gaming or multimedia system. Demonstrates moderate heat dissipation (2.3 W in Idle mode) and low noise level, which is important for building multi-drive NAS systems with quiet cooling. Proprietary 3D Active Balance Plus balancing technology guarantees performance stability 24/7.

good quality product I think the main advantage is that it is optimized for consumer NAS. They behave normally at work and remain cool. This is a very good indicator. I bought this hard drive to install the system, programs, and store work documents. I work with video and graphics, so I needed a large capacity. So far, I'm satisfied with how it performs :) works fast, quiet, and almost doesn't heat up, fits various needs perfectly, very good capacity. don't know Aleksey: use WD NasWare Red few months i recommend it should buy |
