Smartphone with pure Android
If you look closer, the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite will turn out to be the European twin brother of the Redmi 6 Pro smartphone. The main difference between them is the "pure" Android in the A2 Lite instead of the usual Xiaomi MIUI shell. In practice, this means that you will receive updates in a timely manner, and the smartphone itself will work more smoothly, since the system will not have dozens of unnecessary applications that the manufacturer has sewn in.
Large IPS display
The Mi A2 Lite has a 5.84-inch IPS display with a Full HD resolution (2280x1080 pixels). The aspect ratio is the now fashionable 19:9 with the now familiar notch-shaped cutout at the top. The screen is “frameless” and takes up most of the front of the smartphone, covering the plastic sides and back. Xiaomi decided to abandon the aluminum case.
Ideal processor in terms of price-quality ratio
The Mi A2 Lite's performance is powered by the aging but still powerful Snapdragon 625 processor, which Xiaomi likes to use in its entry-level/mid-range smartphones. It's still a good value for money option, and it's allowed the device's final price to be lowered. The "dragon" is assisted by 4GB of RAM and a 64GB flash drive.
Capacious battery with fast charging support
One of the smartphone's strongest points is its 4,000 mAh battery. For comparison, even the older Mi A2 model has a 3,010 mAh battery.
According to Xiaomi, this capacity is enough for 6 hours of watching Full HD video or 6 hours of gaming. However, you shouldn't take these numbers literally, as they depend on both the graphics settings and the screen brightness. As a nice bonus, there is support for Quick Charge 3.0.
The fact that Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is designed for the mass user is most clearly demonstrated by its equipment. For example, there is a good old 3.5 mm headphone jack, which Apple is persistently trying to get rid of. The smartphone itself works with microUSB, and not the now fashionable USB C. There is no NFC chip either, so Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite is not the best option if you plan to use the smartphone for contactless payments, pay attention to the new budget Huawei Y6 Prime 2018 or the former flagship LG G3.
