The design uses 14.2 mm dynamic drivers operating in the familiar frequency range from 20 to 20000 Hz. The companion app provides 5 preset sound modes, including options with boosted bass or treble.
Xiaomi Redmi Buds 6 Active are best recommended for frequent calls. The model is equipped with a four-microphone system (two in each earbud) with ENC noise reduction technology. This improves speech clarity during conversations on busy streets and minimizes wind impact at speeds up to 4 m/s.
Balance of comfort and battery life
Each earbud weighs just 4 grams and is protected against moisture to the IPX4 standard — just avoid heavy rain. You can control them with taps or voice commands via Apple Siri or Google Assistant. A full charge via the USB-C port takes about 2 hours, after which the device provides up to 6 hours of continuous music playback.
