A high-end tower cooler equipped with a massive heatsink with increased fin density and an additional fan for cooling. The model belongs to the middle price segment, and its design is able to remove up to 220 W of heat from the processor. Thus, the best scenario for using the cooler is to install it in a high-performance gaming PC or a mid-range workstation with an Intel or AMD Performance class processor.
The design of the Xilence M705D is a 150mm high tower with a massive copper-aluminium radiator through which 5 direct contact cooling tubes pass. For additional cooling, a pair of 120 mm fans on a hydrodynamic bearing is located on the sides of the radiator. The speed of rotation of the blades is adjustable in the range from 700 to 1600 rpm. The use of turntables with automatic adjustment of the speed of rotation allows you to achieve minimal noise both in idle and under maximum load. The noise level emitted by the cooler can range from 16 to 31 dB. The tower turned out to be quite large (dimensions 128x108x150 mm) and heavy (685 g), which imposes restrictions on the dimensions of other components. A set of included processor mounts ensures compatibility with most Intel and AMD processors released between 2005 and 2022.

Real supercooler
Xilence M705D is a single-tower and dual-fan cooler with a 220W heatsink. Models with TDP over 200 W are called supercoolers. It weighs almost 700 g, which is explained by thick fins and five heat pipes. The contact of the tubes is straight, but they are perfectly aligned and ground, so there is no need for a distribution plate.
Through blowing
A pair of complete fans with a diameter of 12 cm rotates at speeds from 700 to 1600 rpm. Don't forget to include a Y-splitter to connect two fans to one PWM header on the motherboard. The bearing is made using FDB technology (Fluid Dynamic Bearing), that is, the most durable hydro-dynamic bearing.
freedom of choice
If you have a moderately hot processor, then you can set the two fans to a constant low speed. Thanks to this, the computer will become almost silent. Or install one of the turntables as a cabinet one, to blow hot air out. Or use only one fan, and after a few years, replace it with a spare.
