Actually, I'm not a fan of tool kits. After all, if you buy something like this for personal use, then at least half of the tool turns out to be completely unclaimed. Another thing is when the use is professional. Any car can come to your service (an unrealistic amount of rubbish has been brought to our country over the past 25 years) and you will need a tool that you have never held in your hands before. This is where kits come in handy. The set is diverse and balanced. To begin with, there are three ratchets with a ratcheting mechanism (drive sizes 1/2", 3/8", 1/4"). They all come with comfortable, grippy handles and decent leverage. There are 54 socket wrenches of various lengths for any size from 6 to 32 mm. Additionally, there are 5 extension bars (1/2", 3/8", 1/4"). There is also a place for Torx sockets, of which there are 14 pieces. The set includes a large number of bits: 30 pcs. with a holder size of 5/16" and 44 pcs. standard 1/4". Besides the standard flat and Phillips head PH/PZ, there are also Torx, Security Torx, and Spline bits. The bits come with three adapters in sizes 5/16"x1/2", 5/16"x3/8", 1/4"x1/4" (square-hex). It also includes combination open-end and ring wrenches ranging from 8 to 20 mm and seven hex keys from 1/20" to 5 mm. Two spark plug sockets, a sliding T-bar, three universal joints for different drive sizes, and two screwdriver handles – virtually all the frequently and infrequently used tools in an auto workshop are available. The tools are made of carbon and alloy steels, chrome, vanadium, and in some cases, molybdenum. The hardness is excellent. For corrosion protection, the tools are quality chrome plated. Two of the three ratchets at first glance seemed to be tight and one of them had a strange working sound. But two months have already passed and they show themselves normally in work. |
