i spent a couple of hours handling the "Acer Aspire 5 A515-44" [A515-44-R9ZT] (NX.HW3EU.00A). (CPU "Ryzen 5 4500U", SSD "M.2" 512GB). I had mixed impressions, see pros/cons. Other observations: the cooling fan can be heard (at room temperature of 27°), but it's quiet and not bothersome. The Wi-Fi module is of moderate strength. The old type BIOS (Phoenix Award) has limited settings. The keyboard characters are medium-sized. There's backlighting, but it's done cheaply (light partially shines through under the keys). fast, Windows 10 flies. Thin, light. Battery lasts 6-8 hours. the main complaint is the dull screen. The maximum brightness is around 170-200 cd/m². During the day in the apartment, it's not enough, I always wanted to increase it, but there's nowhere to do it. For comparison, my old laptop with a TN matrix from around 2010 works brighter, and the colors are better. |
