The Acer Aspire 5 A517-51G is a solidly built laptop powered by the Intel Skylake platform for work, school and gaming. And thanks to the aluminium strip in the centre, the silver frame and the grooves on the lid, the laptop looks more interesting than any office bee.
The Acer Aspire 5 A517-51G is based on a 14nm Core i3 6006U processor. The chip has 2 cores operating at a frequency of 2 GHz, with good energy efficiency and low heat dissipation. DDR4 RAM is pre-installed with 4 GB and can be expanded up to 16 GB. A 1000 GB HDD will provide years of storage. This volume is especially relevant if you plan to install large game distributions.
Graphics card with 2 GB of video memory
This is made possible by a discrete NVIDIA GeForce graphics card with 2 GB of video memory. Video adapters of this series cope with most modern games and demonstrate more or less comfortable frame rates in them. However, it will not be possible to launch the really demanding offspring of the gaming industry, since the dual-core processor will be the weak link in this chain.
