Adler AD 8078

A practical and inexpensive travel refrigerator from the Polish brand Adler. The model has a classic single-chamber layout with a useful volume of internal space of about 30 liters. This is enough for a company of 4 – 6 people (for transporting food and cooling drinks). Adler AD 8078 can operate in cooling mode, maintaining temperatures 16 - 20 °C lower than outside, or in keeping warm mode.

The “Hot/Cold” switch is located on the rear panel of the case near the connectors for connecting the car refrigerator: the cable from the cigarette lighter socket (12 V) is supposed to be inserted into one of them, and the wire from the household power supply (230 V) is supposed to be inserted into the second. The model uses the thermoelectric principle of cooling and maintaining heat using special plates and the “Peltier effect”. The fan built into its lid helps maintain a uniform temperature inside the cooking chamber. Finally, it is important to mention the presence of a handle in the design of the unit for easy carrying of the 4.3-kilogram body.
