Ergonomic 27" FHD gaming monitor with a curved thin bezel display, faster refresh rate, faster matrix response, better colour reproduction and a comfortable swivel stand. It is positioned as a product of the middle price category in 2020, designed for comfortable gaming and everyday home use. In addition to the impressive diagonal, the screen of the device has a curve with a radius of 1800 mm and is characterized by a rather large dot measuring 0.31 mm. The latter circumstance allows you to significantly increase the distance to the screen, which reduces the chronic tension of the eye muscles, reducing the overall fatigue of vision. The AOC C27G1 monitor is based on a solid 8-bit VA matrix with a resolution of 1920x1080 and Flicker-Free WLED backlighting. It delivers fast response (average...4ms GtG), enhanced static contrast ratio (3000:1), and a decent 102% sRGB colour gamut for accurate reproduction of subtle colour tones. Support for AMD FreeSync Premium sync technology, coupled with low input lag (9ms) and an increased screen refresh rate of 144Hz, ensures that dynamic gaming scenes are displayed flawlessly and without artifacts and smearing. The monitor is equipped with a detachable stand with the ability to adjust the tilt, height and screen rotation (right-left by 30°). Three digital (2xHDMI 2.0 + DisplayPort 1.2) and one analogue D-Sub port are provided for connection.

Affordable curved monitor with 144Hz refresh rate

AOC C27G1 is one of the most affordable 27-inch curved gaming monitors in east european retail. It is based on a semi-matte VA-matrix with Full HD resolution and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. It is the last point that allows us to call this monitor fully gaming. And the screen curvature radius of 1800R allows you to create a more noticeable immersion effect and largely solves the problem of colour inversion and geometry distortion when looking at a large screen from a close distance.

Bright and juicy picture

The eight-bit VA-matrix has even deeper blacks than IPS, and has a full colour gamut of 102% of the sRGB colour space. This allows us to safely recommend the AOC C27G1, if not for professional, then at least for amateur photo editing and video editing. And for dynamic games, it's colour reproduction is close to perfect.

No weak spots

There are not so many additional chips here, rather there are the most important ones. The stand can be adjusted in height, and the monitor itself supports useful Flicker Free and FreeSync technologies. The first eliminates the flickering of the LED backlight of the matrix and, thereby, reduces eye fatigue during prolonged work at the PC. The second synchronizes the frame rate in games with the screen refresh rate (from 30 to 144 Hz), which eliminates image tearing and improves the smoothness of the picture. There are three video inputs and all are digital: one Display Port and a pair of HDMI version 1.4. Although HDMI is not the most modern (version 2.0 is now relevant), it is enough for the eyes to transmit pictures in Full HD + 144 Hz. Summing up all of the above, we get an excellent gaming monitor without weak points. You can only find fault with the plastic edging, which does not fit snugly against the screen, which will eventually collect dust in the cracks.
