Model overview based on user reviews
The ARCTIC P14 PWM White is a reliable and cost-effective 140 mm fan, ideal for those seeking a balance between price and performance. It features a hydrodynamic bearing and a 4-pin PWM connection for automatic speed control, ensuring efficient airflow with minimal noise. Users appreciate its adjustable speed and quiet operation, although some note that it can become noisy at higher RPMs. Despite minor cosmetic issues like protruding plastic, it remains a popular choice for its affordable price and effective cooling capabilities. Overall, it's a simple and effective option for enhancing case ventilation.
Pros
Cons
Adequate noise on speedboats Pieces of plastic sticking out in various places, Chinese on the face |
I needed an additional exhaust fan for the case, and I definitely wanted a 4-pin to control the speed, preferably from a reliable brand, and at a reasonable price )). The color doesn't matter to me, as my case is enclosed, so no one sees it anyway. The dimensions are 140 mm, make sure your case allows for it. This fan, as I understand, works better if there is a mesh or something similar in front of it, but that's a minor detail. In my case, it just does its job well: circulates air, the speed is easily adjustable, and the noise level is not bothersome. Of all the options I looked at, this was the cheapest with decent characteristics. If you're looking for something simple and effective – feel free to go for it. optimal in terms of price/quality everything's fine use ARCTIC P14 PWM White less than month |

I measured the speeds, maybe someone will need it to estimate the noise:
11.52V ~ 1650 RPM (very noisy)
11V ~ 1588 RPM (very noisy)
10V ~ 1480 RPM (noisy)
9V ~ 1365 RPM (a bit noisy)
8V ~ 1225 RPM (audible now)
7V ~ 1100 RPM (audible in a quiet room)
6V ~ 955 RPM (a little noisier)
5V ~ 805 RPM (quiet)
4V ~ 655 RPM (almost silent)
3V ~ 480 RPM (silent)
