How to choose UPSMethods for choosing UPS for boiler, computer, refrigerator and other equipment

Protection for Home and Office

The ARMAC Office PF1 1000 VA UPS is suitable for providing reliable protection for equipment at home or in the office without requiring complex maintenance. The model operates using an inverter conversion topology and delivers a pure sine wave output, required for stable power supply to sensitive equipment: computers, printers, audio equipment, heating boiler electronics, sensors, and measuring and control instruments. A power factor of 1.0 allows the full rated power of up to 1000 W to be used, which is sufficient, for example, for several office PCs or a powerful home computer with peripherals. The wide 110–300 V input voltage range helps maintain stable operation during significant fluctuations in mains power parameters. Protection against overload, short circuit, and electromagnetic pulses is provided, while in the event of critical failures, the system automatically shuts down and restarts. Features to consider include a noise level of up to 50 dB under high load.

Scalable Backup System

For autonomous operation, the UPS is equipped with three 9 Ah batteries. At a load of approximately 50%, their charge lasts for around 10 minutes. If necessary, the backup time can be extended by connecting external batteries via the terminal block located on the rear panel, without disassembling the enclosure. To monitor battery condition, automatic testing is performed every 60 days, helping to promptly detect malfunctions or reduced battery efficiency. Operating parameters can be monitored in real time via the PowerManager II application by connecting the UPS to a computer via RS232 or USB-B.
