Charging station with a lithium-iron-phosphate battery capacity of 512 Wh, "cold start" function, and an output signal in the form of a pure sine wave. The device is designed for backup power of equipment with a total capacity of up to 500 W (manufacturer claims that short-term load increase up to 1000 W is permissible). For connecting electrical consumers, the EcoFlow RIVER 2 Max charging station has two outlets, three USB-A ports, and one USB-C port. The built-in battery can be charged from the grid or solar panels (not included), as well as through the DC5521 socket (car cigarette lighter) and XT60 fast-charging port. The station weighs 6 kg and has a carrying handle. Besides the usual control method (using the display on the front panel), the device can be operated via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.

We decided to purchase this model. We thought long and hard, but having a child at home and the need to prioritize powering the boiler in winter for heating the apartment became decisive factors. We thoroughly researched sellers, reviews, and the charging station model itself. We settled on this one and have no regrets. It's been with us for 2 months now, has operated at full capacity a few times, and currently meets all our needs. If possible, we would have gone for the River 2 Pro, as having extra power capacity never hurts.

For the boiler, laptop, gadget charging, TV, and even my fridge runs off it - it suffices for the current scenario.
Fast charging in 1 hour.
Availability of a large number of ports.

great model, I really liked it

If it weren't for the power outages, I would never have learned what a charging station is. I work from home, so such a purchase seemed more like an investment, but it turns out that the item is quite useful in everyday life: scheduled and emergency outages - and you have light anytime. I connected it as a UPS for my PC, and it handles the task, with instant switching when power disappears. Tested it under working conditions, with a load of 85W, and 100% charge lasted exactly 4 hours. The fan turned on at 90% and didn't turn off until the end. Charging to full capacity took the claimed ± hour. The fan is a bit noisy, but not critically so, especially since I can't hear it with headphones on. (In the photo, the right side of the station, where the air intake for the fan is, is pressed against the wall - this is just for the photo, usually the air intake is normal). It is worth noting that the screen displays ALL the necessary information about the station: what's on, how much it's consuming, and how long it will last. There is also a convenient app on the smartphone that duplicates all the station's status information and allows control and settings adjustments.

wonderful model, really honored

During power outages, it helps incredibly. In the summer, it lasted for 6 hours with a fan. I use it to power my sewing equipment. It lasts perfectly for 4 hours, not to mention the basic charging of gadgets. If desired, we connect the TV and PS for my husband's gaming.

A simplified but functional model

The EcoFlow RIVER 2 Max charging station differs from its predecessor in that it lacks a modular design and the ability to increase capacity with additional battery packs. However, it is now equipped with a useful uninterruptible power supply (UPS) function.

Reliable LiFePO4 battery

In UPS mode, the power of connected devices switches to the built-in battery in just 30 ms. The manufacturer recommends disconnecting the plug from the network after disconnecting the centralized power supply. The station is powered by a lithium-iron-phosphate battery with a capacity of 512 Wh, which is designed for more than 3000 charge and discharge cycles.

Variety of interfaces

The battery can power the TV for 5-7 hours, and can also be used to charge a laptop and router, depending on the energy consumption of the devices. Users can charge mobile gadgets through three full-size USB ports with a power of 12 W, one USB type C with fast charging (100 W) via the Power Delivery protocol, two sockets with pure sine voltage, an output for a car cigarette lighter and two DC connectors of 12 V. Additionally, the station is equipped with XT-60 and X-Stream ports.

Fast charging in one hour

The station can support a load of up to 500 W and cope with short-term peaks of up to 1000 W. Charging from the network is carried out via the X-Stream connector in just one hour. The battery can also be charged via USB type C, from the car cigarette lighter socket or using solar panels (optional). For remote monitoring and adjustment, the EcoFlow mobile application is available, but it is worth noting that it does not have the ability to control the active cooling system, which can be quite noisy.
