Sony IMX 307 sensor, Wi-Fi, WDR, Full HD, 170° viewing angle, GPS module with the function of stamping speed and coordinates on video and route, Full HD for both cameras, parking mode with markings, power block in the cigarette lighter with USB port on the end at 5V and 2A. The video on the main camera embeds a GPS track of the trip, and the video itself records the current coordinates and vehicle speed. It gets hot, noticeably warm, and I'm not sure if it will survive the summer. The additional camera connects to the recorder itself, not to the holder, like the power cable. Power connector is mini USB. Video from the additional rear camera records but does not include coordinates, speed, and does not record a GPS track in the video. use Aspiring Expert 5 Dual week i recommend it should buy |
Purchased the Aspiring Expert 5 Wi-Fi, GPS, magnet 8 months ago and I'm disappointed. Absolutely unreliable equipment. Firstly, the buttons rattle, on the recording the rattling sound is so loud it seems like a helicopter rather than a dashcam. After three to four months, it stopped turning on, sent it for warranty repair - the built-in battery was faulty, they replaced it, it worked. A month after the repair, the second camera (rear) started showing green stripes on the screen when connected, if you adjust the plug it works. Another week later, when connecting the second camera, the dashcam started rebooting or freezing. If the second camera isn’t connected, it works - meaning the second camera is faulty (probably a broken wire causing a short, because the camera needs to be plugged in with a jack, although the recorder itself attaches easily with magnets and contacts, or the connector on the recorder itself got damaged). Now I only use the recorder without the rear camera. Today, while driving, the device just restarted on its own, and when I parked, it restarted again and showed the ASPIRING logo on a white screen. Nothing else works on it, turned it on and off, rebooted with the reset button, removed the memory card, formatted the card, no result - white screen with ASPIRING logo. Downloaded the firmware from the official website, reflashed it, and the recorder started working. Turns out the firmware just crashed on the road while driving. I don't want to go to the service center anymore, obvious that it’s a piece of junk. Strongly do not recommend. Technical characteristics and that's all Solid flaws in design, reliability, buggy, breaks for no reason |

Both cameras record in Full HD, with quite high quality; you can discern vehicle license plates from a distance. If the rear camera is not connected, the dash cam records in Quad HD 1440p - 2560×1440 (this isn't mentioned anywhere). When the additional camera is connected, it automatically switches to Full HD+Full HD. The additional camera has parking guidelines, and to display them, the red cable needs to be connected to the + of the reverse light.
The instructions state that the device is powered by a block with a current strength of no more than 1A and 5V, but in fact, it comes with a 2A 5V power supply, and with a 1A charger, it works unstably. The power connector on the device and mount is mini USB, which seems outdated to me; for this price, a type C could have been included. To connect at home and view or download videos via Wi-Fi, have a mini USB cable ready; power from a smartphone is suitable but not less than 2A at the output, yet not more because it might burn out. You can view the GPS track while watching videos with the special YW software.
