The Asus ROG Flow X13 trailer laptop is one of the most compact and lightweight gaming computers in its class. All thanks to the exclusive form factor of the device with a separately connected discrete graphics card.
ROG X Mobile Dock
In the basic configuration, the laptop is equipped with Ryzen 9 5900HS or Ryzen 7 5800HS processors, has up to 32 GB of RAM (LPDDR4X 4266 MHz) and a GeForce GTX 1650 Ti graphics card with 4 GB of GDDR6 video memory. You can also choose an external GeForce RTX 3080 graphics accelerator, which is installed “under the hood” of the ROG XG Mobile plug-in docking station. A separate unit with a graphics card and a number of additional interfaces is connected to the laptop through the pins of the combined PCIe 3.0 x8 and USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 connector on the left side of the case.
Versatility
The ROG XG Mobile Dock contains four USB A 3.2 Gen 1, HDMI 2.0a, DisplayPort 1.4, a Gigabit Ethernet port, and an SD card reader. It also has a built-in 280W power supply. In conjunction with an external graphics core, the laptop performs well in games, but without it it is a convenient working tool and a means of consuming multimedia content. Moreover, another trump card is hidden in the model's sleeve.
Screen variability
Asus ROG Flow X13 is not just a laptop — it's a real transformer. The device's 13.4-inch 16:10 aspect ratio touch screen opens up to 360°, i.e. it can be easily used as a tablet. Users are offered two display options to choose from: with FullHD resolution, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and coverage of the sRGB triangle, as well as with 4K resolution, a standard refresh rate of 60 Hz and 116% coverage of the sRGB colour space. The first one will be appreciated by avid gamers, the second one — by regulars of photo and video editors. Finally, it should be noted that the device has a backlit keyboard and support for fast charging of its battery (up to 60% in 39 minutes).
