I deal with servicing complex medical equipment (CT scanners), and more than half of my work time is spent on business trips. As you can imagine, in such a situation, having a good laptop is simply necessary. It's both my work tool and entertainment station on the road/in hotels. If we briefly discuss the advantages of this model, it is a laptop that can literally do everything. There are no applications or games it cannot handle at least on a good average level. Yes, you had to pay a lot for such compact power, but it was worth it. This model can only be compared to the latest models of the Apple MacBook Pro, and even then, it's unclear in whose favor this comparison would turn. With a thin aluminum body weighing 1.8 kg, it's packed so impressively that you wonder how it all fits inside. Its excellent performance is ensured by a combination of a 4-core Core i7 processor, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, a discrete GeForce GTX 1050 Ti graphics card, and a 1 TB SSD. The pre-installed Windows 10 Home OS runs seamlessly, no joke. It also comes with an excellent island-style backlit keyboard with a comfortable key travel, four-channel (!) acoustics, a fingerprint scanner, and a lightning-fast 802.11ac standard wireless adapter. The battery is great; in surfing/video viewing mode, it lasts at least 8-9 hours. How could they include such a budget web camera module in such an expensive and high-performance laptop, I don't understand. The same quality cameras are installed in student laptops costing 270 EUR. The fingerprint scanner on my smartphone works more accurately, but here identification errors occur, and this happens noticeably more often than I would like. |
