Laptops with a 16-inch screen from Asus are representatives of the Vivobook series, which includes mid-budget portable PCs. Laptops of the family can be recommended for work and office tasks, as well as multimedia entertainment, such as watching videos. The distinctive features of the models include a laconic, stylish appearance and a hinge that opens 180 degrees, plus the body here is made of aluminium, which combines decent strength, compactness (18 mm thickness) and moderate weight (1.8 kg).

Asus Vivobook S 16X S5602ZA laptops are based on the 12th generation Intel platform (Alder Lake), respectively, the main hardware includes multi-core Core i5 or Core i7 processors and integrated Iris Xe Graphics G7 graphics adapters. The system’s performance is helped by at least 8 GB of RAM (in top configurations, 40 GB of RAM is offered at once), and an SSD M.2 solid-state drive is provided for installing programs and storing data (capacity can reach 2 TB).

The laptops of the family have a 16-inch diagonal IPS screen, which is distinguished by thin frames and safety for vision (confirmed by a TÜV Rheinland certificate). But other parameters, including refresh rate and resolution, may differ depending on the modification. Among other features of the models, it is worth highlighting the presence of a branded Harman Kardon speaker system, a white keyboard backlight, a webcam with a protective shutter, and a 70 Wh rechargeable battery with a USB C (Power Delivery) power supply function. The set of interfaces is also excellent, because “on board” there are two Thunderbolt v4 ports, one HDMI v 2.1, plus there is a Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) module, ready to work at relatively free frequencies.
