When you get acquainted with the B&W MM-1 audio system, you can feel the English pedantry and restraint that runs like a red thread through the design of the column. The perfect form of the design is framed by branded upholstery, which carefully hid the speakers, and the body itself is decorated with a metal panel with a logo, located according to the principles of the golden section. The rubberized basis provides stability and additional suppression of vibration waves. The top metal panel, which has become a feature of the brand, will serve as an excellent stand for a smartphone.

Behind the thick fabric of each speaker are a 75mm main driver and a 25mm tweeter. The total power of acoustics is 72 W, which is quite enough to accompany parties. The master speaker board based on the Atmel AT32UC3B0256 microcontroller will add quality to the sound, and the chip (DAC) that converts digital to analogue sound will make the reproduced compositions more voluminous. The company's patented unique Nautilus technology, used in premium audio systems, allows you to recreate panoramic sound with a beautiful sound stage, making the sound crystal clear.

The sound of the speakers is soft, with a clearly traced bass line and an even channel balance. When watching video content and playing APE, FLAC formats, the B&W MM-1 audio system maximizes its potential: electronic, pop and even classical music are played with detail and harmonic structure, but listening to rock songs at high volume (more than 80%) will provoke sound mixing.

Communication with the device is carried out using the stylish remote control included in the kit. On the audio system itself, there are only physical start and volume buttons. It should be noted that remote control of the device is possible only in the mode of connecting speakers via USB (type B), and in the case of an analogue connection, the remote control becomes less functional, without the ability to switch tracks.
