Complete misunderstanding.
17 August 2019
Tilt - not needed. LFs made of metal, plastic, composite, as well as the HF driver - are trash, not perceived by the human ear and perceived with hostility. Sounds synthetic, flat, unnatural, colored, and with the resonances of the material used, without fading. And it's more suitable for imitating industrial sounds rather than music. No USB input. Knobs are not needed. The bass reflex port is too large, it will constantly hum and does hum. The power cable should be detachable. The power button should be on the front panel. The remote control should have a flat bottom so it can be placed on a table-armrest and be pressed without issues, rounded remotes roll on the surface. The remote should only have 4 buttons: power, 2 volume, 1 input switch.

The best system for a computer today.
12 June 2016
These are the best computer speakers to date. There is no need to add a subwoofer. THE BASS IS SUFFICIENT (after warm-up).

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM FOR THOSE WHO PLAN TO LISTEN TO MP3s AND OTHER COMPRESSED FORMATS WITH CUT FREQUENCY RANGE.
Transparent sound, fast bass, good pressure. When you turn off the power, even with the remote control or switch, the settings of both the selected input and the volume level that were at the time of shutdown are saved. Good power reserve.
Out of the box they sound like metal in the HF. They require long-term heating of the diffusers. When connecting via Bluetooth, when switching the input source, the Bluetooth connection is lost and requires reconnection. Required for sound source. (you need a good sound card)

In search of the perfect sound

S1000DB literally walk on the edge and blur the boundaries of class. According to the passport, these are pure multimedia speakers with a minimum of bells and whistles. In spirit, this is a hi-fi acoustic that dreams of standing on the same shelf as Yamaha, Tannoy and JBL. They are all made with high quality sound in mind.

Each speaker weighs about 8 kilograms and boasts an impressive (14 cm) speaker with an aluminium cone. More to come: instead of a single active amp like conventional multimedia speakers, the S1000DB uses 4 amps for each specific band like professional studio monitors.

The next example of an emphasis on sound is working with Bluetooth. Most speakers that connect to a smartphone wirelessly have to put up with audio stream compression up to 160 kbps and frequencies cut off above 14 kHz. The S1000DB also supports the aptX codec, which allows you to wirelessly transfer music in 24-bit Hi-Res audio format.

But if thoroughbred hi-fi implies a ton of complexities like an expensive sound source, lossless music and textbook gold-plated wires, then the S1000DB is as picky as a brick in the sun. Want to hear all the details of your favorite jazz album in Lossless? Easily. Do you need the "tanks" in WOW to rumble like in a war? And this is possible. Why, thanks to a power reserve of 120 kW and deep low frequencies, the S1000DB is quite capable of voicing a spontaneous house party.
